What is inner healing prayer?
Perhaps you have past experiences in your life that have deeply wounded you. You may or may not know that we carry hurtful memories and feelings associated with those experiences with us. The experiences can be from our sin, things that have happened to us, or evil. The subsequent wounds can damage our emotions and cripple us in our relationships and daily lives. We were made to be loved and, when we aren’t loved, it causes a fracture in us and steals our peace. The resulting hurt impacts our ability to love others and trust others, even God.
Inner healing allows God to touch your suffering, to show you how he accompanies, and heals you. Yes, even today, Jesus can come into your life and heal you! When God heals an area of brokenness, you will be set free and become the person He created you to be. You will no longer live in a prison of woundedness but as a free and restored daughter of the Father.
In prayer ministry, you and I begin by listening to your story with confidentiality and without judgement. I understand how difficult it can be to share with someone your story of pain and shame. However, being emotionally honest about past wounds is the first step in healing. You can understand why most people hide their wounds. We spend an incredible amount of energy pretending we aren’t hurting. What if I suggested to you that acknowledging a hurt can be the beginning of healing? It’s a sign of where to begin with God because it directs to the memory that needs healing. In inner healing prayer, we patiently listen and follow the Holy Spirit’s lead because He knows what to do. The Holy Spirit doesn’t erase our memories or make us forget. He reframes the memory with His truth and removes its crippling effect on your life.
You may have encountered obstacles to healing. As we listen to your story, and with the aid of the Holy Spirit, we will find blocks to your healing. Common blocks include:
- unforgiveness
- distorted thinking about yourself and God
- shame
- disappointments
- failures
- misplaced guilt
- interference by the enemy
- judgments you make against yourself or others
- too much or too little emotion
- unholy vows you’ve made
- unholy connections you have with someone else
Praying with a trained inner healing minister will help you to work with God’s love and healing power to transform painful memories and set you free.

How many sessions will I need?
Inner healing prayer will produce immediate fruit in your life. That’s what we look for, even before you leave the session. Continued healing does require time and patience. It’s a very gentle process that the Lord uses to heal us. We have many layers, and he delicately, and with tremendous love, heals us bit by bit. Somewhat surprisingly, one day, you look up and realize you’ve been LOVED ALREADY.
Are you a counselor or therapist?
No. I am not a counselor or health professional. However, I am trained through Pope Paul II Healing Center, Resurrected Life, Unbound, and a variety of other healing methodologies.
What are you then?
I am a trained inner healing minister who has an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, a deep prayer life, and years of experience studying the Word of God.
What happens during a prayer session?
Each prayer session is different because we follow where the Spirit takes us. Generally we will follow the following process:
- We open in prayer and invite the Holy Spirit to take over.
- You will tell me what you would like to pray about during our time together. Many times, people have something they would like to address. Or, you can tell me your story, and we will see where the Holy Spirit takes us.
- While listening to your story, the Holy Spirit will illuminate areas that we can focus on.
- I will recommend questions for you to ask God regarding your situation. Jesus is the inner healer, not me. We will allow Him to tell you how he feels about the situation, how he feels about you, how he feels about others involved.
How will you feel after a session?
There’s no way of knowing exactly how you will feel when our prayer session is over. I have experienced, and other people say that they feel elated, relieved, like a weight has been lifted off of them, freer, clearer, more at peace. Sometimes you may feel tired or that you need time to soak in what just happened.
How will we connect?
We use FaceTime, Zoom, or telephone. For Zoom video calls, you will receive an email with the link to the session. For FaceTime, you will need an iPhone. For people in the continental United States, we can also call you via telephone.
How much does a prayer session cost?
Prayer is free! However, a donation to Loved Already is encouraged. Your support helps us reach as many people as possible! When you fill out the contact form, I will email you with more information about the prayer session and steps for scheduling a time to pray together.
Is the donation tax-deductible?
Loved Already is not a tax-exempt non-profit organization, therefore your donation is not tax deductible.
How can you book a session?
Please fill out the contact form to request an appointment. I will email you back with a few days/times that I’m available, and we will go from there.
What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
I understand if someone is not able to make an appointment, however, I would like you to keep in mind that I schedule my life around my ministry and spend a significant amount of time praying for you before we meet.
What happens if I’m late for my appointment?
Our appointment time begins at the agreed-upon time. If you are late to the session, we will begin then and end at the normally scheduled time.
Yes! I’d like Melissa to contact me about prayer ministry
